Ray Woods wanted to be a famous athlete. He tried football and then baseball. But he just didnt have the talent to be a star. He was a good swimmer and a fair diver, but how far he could except in either of these sports was cuestionable.
Until one day when Woods climbed over the railing of the Brooklyn Bridge an drown in.
Onlookers was gasped. His dive was perfect. He was not injured, and he swam to the shore. Instantly, he became a famous athlete.
He made high dives all over the country from a variety of towers. He had made almost two hundred high dives when he decided to try one from the Oakland Bay Bridge in San Francisco.
Unfortunately, the air currents caused him to lost control and flip over and over again. He lands on his back. He lived, but spent the next two years recuperating from the broken bones. Then returned to diving. But shortly thereafter, he drowned.
He did not down as a result of diving. Ironically, he drowned while fishing. He lost balance, and fell out of the rowboat.
